This page shows some instances people have made of the free Little Star design.  This is open-source sculpture in action.

The White Star by John R. Torres of New York City.  This rendition in 1/4" styrofoam paneling is textured with stucco paint.

Jacob Miller made these instances.  The first is closed cell foam about .25" thick, the second sandblasted 1/16 inch cold rolled steel.


Jan Mertens of Belgium produced this with a scroll saw in plywood.


In France, Gerard Scharff's is made from 10mm plywood.


RO of the Netherlands made this lamp of lasercut MDF.
