This model
packs in more articulation than my usual steel/bronze material can: it has the same relation to Vorocube that a snub dodecahedron has to a
snub cube.
The material is an aluminum-filled polyamide made by selective laser
sintering (SLS). It's tough, stiff stuff, usually used for light
industrial applications where metallic performance and appearance are
important. I tumble it to bring the aluminum particles up to a
glittery finish. |
