This cheerful object was one of a line of wooden kits I had in 2002-3.  (It was undone by the impossibility of getting high-grade plywood of uniform thickness.)  This piece was about 7" tall. I also made one instance in lasercut steel, which appeared on the season premiere of the CBS series Numb3rs.
