This is a wish list.  There are many projects I'd like to pursue, but I'm a few fries short of a Happy Meal in the expertise to do it right.  If I can do this without actually appearing to beg, I'll post them here and see if anyone takes an interest

I like to collaborate and have seen good pieces come from it.  I'm conscientious about giving credit, and for some pieces I pay royalties on their sales.

If you do write, please be patient.  My email queue is long, I'm busy with current projects, and even very worthy messages sometimes languish.  If it won't wait, call my assistant at (831)421-0677, and she'll see that I call you back.

Plastic Injection Molding
I've got some ideas for snap-fit or glue-up kits.  I feel like this would be an excellent way to market my designs, right at the center of geek/art crossover.  It can't be super expensive to make these – there's an awful lot of them out there, many catering to very narrow interests – but I'm not up to speed in choosing materials, design for assembly, or how to source tooling and molding services.  I'd like to work with someone knowledgeable so as to make the tooling one time and get a decent result.

I can fund the direct costs of this project, but I can't pay a typical product development consulting fee.  Thus it would have to be a collaboration, with a reduced fee plus profit sharing or a royalty in return for your injection-molding expertise.

Lamps
I have a couple of light designs which I think are good, but which MGX declined to license.  I expect I can find 3D printing for the shades, but I'm not anxious to spend a lot of time sourcing fixture components, still less seeking UL approval.  Or should they be low-voltage or LED so as to avoid the UL question?  If you can help me go from CAD model to working lamp, I'll cut you in on whatever I get.  Or if you want to license, we can talk.

Two of the lamps that I did for MGX are on their way to becoming 21st-century design classics: they've been shown worldwide and are starting to show up in coffee-table books.

Minimal Surfaces in Hyperbolic Space
Enough said – if you are able to compute these and willing to bear with a slow student, I have some notions.

Marketing Czar
This is more of a help-wanted than an open-question listing.  I can't pay an ordinary marketing consultant, and indeed have found that such a person doesn't add value to my business.  Nonetheless there is a part-time job here, which naturally belongs to someone who already has a relationship with scientific, mathematical or medical design, and a built-in understanding of where these things have value and what kind of person likes them.  Duties include researching opportunities, organizing a schedule, tracking placements, allocating budget, and following up on what worked, in addition to production of copy and layouts from existing materials.  This is not a consulting opportunity, it is a detail job with responsibility at every level from broad strategy to proofing punctuation.

PS Please don't email to let me know that this is too many requirements.  I do this entire job in addition to making the art and running the business, and I get paid a lot less than I'd pay you if you could do it, so shut your piehole.
