Awhile back I designed some lights for MGX by Materialise, and now I can bring those designs here. These are hand-size models in the same material as the lights, a sintered nylon. MGX thinks they're Christmas ornaments; I think they're more along the lines of those mini designer chairs. Twee or cool? You be the judge.

This design's wild efflorescence doesn't make efficient use of 3D printing technology. I've always liked that about it.

As a lamp this got slightly famous in the twenty-oughts: the first of my designs to have a cheap Chinese knockoff.
In 2019 I regained rights to the design, only to learn that it's not really printable. I put it here with a small markup, and I continue to enable new materials for it as they become available, in hope of finding one that will work.
The best I can say is, if you are able to get a print of it, you'll be the first to do so in many years.
